About the role
- Define and own the Credit product vision and roadmap, aligning with Wells Fargo’s growth objectives.
- Facilitate frequent collaboration between Lines of businesses, Product, Technology, COO, Control, Compliance and other partner teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Influence executive stakeholders and governance forums to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources.
- Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and optimization.
- Drive enhancements in trading capabilities, electronic execution, and risk management tools.
- Ensure compliance with OCC, FRB, NFA, and Wells Fargo’s risk frameworks.
- Champion robust controls and governance across product development processes.
- Work within an Agile Product Development framework (e.g. Scrum, etc.), workflow and collaboration tools, such as Confluence & Jira to document and deliver business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Mentor and develop junior product managers; foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of industry related experience
- Experience with Credit Cash and Derivative products (e.g. SN CDS, CDX, Index Options, TRS, Credit ETFs) and Portfolio Trading
- Prior experience in product development, product management or change management capacity
- Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership
- Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint) and reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau) skills
- A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, engineering, math, economics, finance, or related field
