About the role
- Coach, develop and build a high performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business
- Encourage bankers to engage customers to understand their needs and build relationships
- Resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding the customer and employee experience
- Identify opportunities to make banking easier for customers through digital options
- Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders and collaborating to deliver a customer-centric experience
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports
Requirements
- 4+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Management experience including hiring, coaching, and developing direct reports
- Ability to build and inspire a team where adaptability, collaboration, and accountability to performance are critical to success
- Ability to analyze performance, understand strengths and opportunities, and execute a plan that empowers employees to achieve business objectives
- Experience and knowledge in coaching across customer segments
- Ability to lead a team to influence, educate, and connect customers to technology and share the value of digital banking
- Knowledge and understanding of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, risk management and loss prevention
- Relevant military experience including working with military protocol and instructions
