About the role

  • Support EMEA CIB Product & Strategic Delivery Team implementing technical and non-technical changes
  • Collaborate with Project Management, Business, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Legal to integrate changes across the business change lifecycle
  • Situation Investigation and Problem Analysis, Feasibility Assessments, Business Case Development
  • Process and Service Improvement, Business Acceptance Testing, Business Change Deployment, Requirements Definition
  • Run discovery, elicitation and design workshops with stakeholders; ensure holistic requirements and high-quality documentation
  • Define and document requirements and user stories using Jira; validate artefacts prior to signoff
  • Undertake gap analysis across operating models; support idea generation
  • Produce dashboards to monitor user story and testing progress; document test scenarios and create test packs
  • Identify, analyse and manage risks, issues and interdependencies; escalate as necessary and support project manager when required
  • Build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders; collaborate with Technology and Operations to deliver solutions
  • Maintain up to date industry knowledge and ensure the organization’s interests are considered

Requirements

  • Experience working within financial services specialising in Capital Markets
  • Be familiar with both the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the broader Business Change Life Cycle (BCLC)
  • Experience of Investment Operations and the trade Lifecycle (demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education)
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills at all levels of the organization
  • Resilient, organised with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Excellent documentation skills ensuring traceability of the delivery back to requirements
  • Experience documenting testing strategies, coordinating testing efforts across multiple platforms and business functions, capturing and documenting UAT results, creation of test scripts and managing and communicating progress
  • Ability to identify the root cause of problems and propose solutions with clear options and recommendations
  • Experience working within both waterfall and agile methods of project delivery
  • Aptitude to structure multiple tasks and work in an organized manner under pressure and time constraints
  • Flexibility to manage multiple distinct work streams simultaneously
  • Fluent in All MS Office Application, Agile Enterprise Jira, and Confluence
  • Qualifications in Business Analysis and Investment Operations preferable
  • Leading operational projects in an Investment Banking environment is beneficial
