About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services with a focus on .NET and Azure cloud environments
  • Contribute to payment-related initiatives (ACH, recurring billing, card payments authorization/capture/settlement, device-based payments, modern payment methods)
  • Drive secure coding practices and proper handling/logging of sensitive financial data
  • Participate in breaking down and modernizing microservices for improved scalability and throughput
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product stakeholders to align solutions with business needs
  • Contribute to resolving technical debt and building resilient systems to support increased transaction volume

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proficiency in .NET backend development
  • Experience with cloud development (Azure preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate external APIs and services
  • Strong understanding of secure coding principles and compliance requirements for handling sensitive data
