About the role

  • Maintain an expert-level command of all Welldoc’s product offerings, ensuring a deep, detailed understanding of core functionality, consumer/care team flows, and all incoming features and updates.
  • Craft and own the positioning framework for Welldoc’s platform, ensuring clear differentiation in a crowded digital health market.
  • Articulate the value of our clinical and AI capabilities, translating technical features into clinical benefits (outcomes, ROI, efficiency) that resonate with buyers and consumers.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional team members (regulatory, quality, clinical, legal) to ensure all product messaging—from website copy to sales decks—aligns with FDA Class I and Class II guidelines and privacy laws.
  • Execute the GTM strategy for new product releases and clinical enhancements.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure Sales, Customer Success, and Clinical teams are aligned.
  • Work with design and clinical teams to equip the sales team with high-impact tools (interactive demos, video, etc.) that showcase product capabilities, features and clinical value.
  • Collaborate with the clinical and marketing teams to develop consumer-facing content (in-product, email, SMS) that drives B2B2C engagement while adhering to clinical safety guidelines.
  • Partner with product and marketing design teams to develop visual assets that showcase the user experience (UI/UX) and roadmap vision across channels (i.e., website, social).
  • Collaborate with clients in developing content in support of branded/white label product offerings.
  • Support market research initiatives to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Maintain a 'pulse on the market.'
  • Analyze competitor positioning and regulatory status (e.g., cleared vs. non-cleared solutions) to refine Welldoc product differentiation.
  • Work cross-functionally to analyze data to assess product engagement and assess opportunities to improve user journey and communications.
  • Collect insights from client-facing teams and the market to identify 'white space' opportunities and provide commercial input into the Product Roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the healthcare or technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and technology applications in clinical settings.
  • Proven success serving as a senior marketing liaison with sophisticated clients (e.g., health plans, health systems, or life sciences).
  • Deep expertise in B2B and B2B2C campaign strategies aimed at driving patient/member acquisition and engagement for digital health solutions.
  • Expert-level program and project management proficiency, including managing multiple, complex, multi-channel programs simultaneously and use of tools (i.e. SmartSheets, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong practical understanding of digital marketing channels (email, digital media, social, etc.) and their application in an omnichannel campaign environment.
  • Ability to drive marketing data stories and insights to track performance, measure ROI, and guide optimization.
  • Comfort with a hands-on role that requires direct involvement in execution details.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into clear, persuasive communications (written and presentation skills).
  • Solutions-focused and highly comfortable navigating ambiguity, acting as a proactive, independent self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
  • Strong track record of leading and collaborating cross-functionally across commercial, product and data teams.
  • Proven ability to develop marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, sales, and executive teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions including marketing, product development, data sciences, sales, client success, regulatory and product development.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas and designs across teams.
  • Competence in analyzing project needs and developing plans to address business challenges and opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
