About the role

  • Core Development: Contribute to the backend Python codebases that underpin our trading and research infrastructure.
  • Problem Solving: Tackle logical and clearly defined problem statements to develop efficient, production-ready solutions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with quantitative researchers and developers to add new features to the trading framework.
  • Ownership: Assume responsibility for assigned tasks and gradually take complete ownership of project components from start to finish.
  • Learning & Growth: Build a comprehensive understanding of our systems, transitioning from focused tasks to broader contributions across various components.

Requirements

  • Education: A B.Tech in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related disciplines from prestigious institutions (IITs, IISc, IIITs, BITS, ISI, or equivalents) with a CGPA greater than 8.5.
  • Experience: 1 year of practical experience in backend software development.
  • Technical Skills:
  • ○ Proficient programming capabilities in Python.
  • ○ Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and operating systems concepts.
  • ○ Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and handling datasets.
  • ○ (Preferred) Experience with distributed systems and network programming.
  • Mindset: Analytical, driven by ownership, and enthusiastic about learning from peers and mentors.
