About the role
- Take ownership of building and scaling high-quality, performance-driven web extension experiences used in production at scale
- Drive complex initiatives end to end—from technical design to reliable delivery
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to shape the product roadmap and design optimal solutions
- Ensure that browser-based experiences are robust, secure, and performant across environments
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and drive continuous improvement of engineering practices
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping production-grade web applications
- Strong expertise in frontend technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM rendering and manipulation, and frameworks such as React
- Solid programming experience in at least one backend language such as Node.js or Python, with strong computer science fundamentals
- Proven experience working on high-scale, customer-facing production systems
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to complex challenges
- Deep understanding of design patterns and their practical application in real-world systems
- A strong focus on writing highly optimized, performant, and maintainable production-quality code
- Passion for technology and staying current with modern engineering trends and tools
- Experience building or maintaining cross-browser web extensions is a strong advantage
- Exposure to AI/ML systems, particularly on-device or client-side models, is a plus
