About the role

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the textile and manufacturing sectors.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions for prospective clients.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions from the product portfolio.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and supporting technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to stay competitive.
  • Support post-sales and implementation teams during solution handover and deployment.
  • Capture customer feedback and share insights to enhance product features and usability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline).
  • B.E / B.Tech qualification is mandatory.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • 0–4 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or application engineering roles.
  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed revenue targets in B2B environments.
  • Strong capability to explain complex technical solutions in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, demonstrations, and industry events.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred
  • Experience in industrial automation, machine vision, or manufacturing technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting processes.
  • Knowledge of technical textiles or related manufacturing industries.
  • Exposure to OEM sales models or channel partner management.
