About the role
- Lead end-to-end design of digital products, from concept development, wireframing, and prototyping to final visual design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, define product requirements, and translate them into user-centered designs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to inform design decisions and iterate solutions.
- Create high-fidelity visual designs, interactive prototypes, and design specifications that clearly communicate design intent to engineers.
- Maintain and evolve the product’s design system, ensuring consistency across platforms and touchpoints.
- Balance business objectives, technical constraints, and user needs to deliver elegant and practical solutions.
- Advocate for the user at every stage of the product development lifecycle and work to continually improve usability and accessibility.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously elevate the quality of our products.
Requirements
- 5-9 years of experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role in a digital product environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX/UI design, interaction design, visual design, and product thinking.
- Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design systems, and responsive design.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
- Strong visual design skills with attention to detail, typography, color, and layout.
- Ability to think strategically while executing meticulously on design details.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and working closely with engineering teams is preferred.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, inclusive design principles, and designing for multiple platforms is a plus.
