Provide day to day support for the virtual desktop and application hosting environment, including a shared 24x7 on-call rotation
Responsible for project work, product upgrades, and development and maintenance of virtual desktop and application standards and procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve performance and other issues as they occur
Collaborate with business partners in solution design
Proactively monitor the virtual desktop and application hosting environment
Provide assistance to application support teams’ initiatives that includes design, build, and maintenance, connectivity and performance troubleshooting, disaster recovery planning, and more

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of Citrix administration experience
Understanding of the components that make up a computing network, e.g. DNS, ADFS, etc.
Understanding of the protocols that are used to interact between infrastructure components, e.g. TCP/IP, LDAP, etc.
Server virtualization experience.
Strong problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills and customer focus.
Ability to effectively communicate in a team environment.
