About the role

  • Support PV Solar projects, including observing field activities, updating equipment records, and focusing on operational performance and optimization of solar sites
  • Support wind project operational performance and optimization
  • Review and revise technical documentation and drawings
  • Perform ad hoc investigations of emergent equipment issues
  • Use available data to investigate performance or reliability issues within the solar and wind fleets
  • Provide general engineering support to PG-Renewables group
  • Track ongoing tasks across sites and support engineers and supervisors
  • Drive continuous improvement by researching emerging utility solar trends
  • Alternate between remote and office work as needed (hybrid setting)
  • Travel to generation sites in remote locations in WI, MI, IA, or IL

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
  • Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering degree with a graduation date after June 2026
  • Minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Interest in Renewables, specifically PV Solar applications, including any course work or involvement within the field
  • Experience working in a hybrid setting
  • Sophomore standing or higher is preferred
