About the role

  • Direct management and continuous improvement of counterparty stress testing program, including daily PFE calculation and MTM portfolio reporting
  • Manage quarterly stress testing under various market scenarios and validate comprehensiveness of stress testing data
  • Reporting & analytics: track counterparty limits, concentrations, exceptions, and potential audit findings; build/maintain counterparty scorecard metrics aligned to RAF, DFAST and Reg. F
  • Active monitoring and enhancement of counterparty surveillance program and early warning indicators
  • Partner with front-office, Independent Risk Management, Credit Risk Reporting and audit to address issues and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Operate and improve stress testing platform (FIS Adaptiv) to produce SA-CCR, MPoR, XVA outputs and effective limits management
  • Manage day-to-day counterparty limit monitoring, address breaches, and follow up on remediation
  • Analyze wrong-way risk, stress scenarios, and concentration risks across traded products
  • Manage DFAST and Reg. F reporting and monitor regulatory developments
  • Underwriting and other responsibilities as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required - Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred
  • 7-10 years of related experience in counterparty credit risk, stress testing, or trade product risk within a global bank or financial institution
  • Technical expertise with FIS Adaptiv or similar stress testing platforms
  • Ability to incorporate data and create analytical reports from external sources (S&P Market Intelligence, Bloomberg, Moody’s, Fitch)
  • Deep understanding of FX, derivatives, securities lending, repo, insurance companies (BOLI), broker/dealers and structured finance products
  • Subject matter expertise in SA-CCR, SR 11-10, OCC Heightened Standards, DFAST and Reg. F reporting
  • Strong grasp of legal documentation (ISDA, CSA, GMRA, GMSLA) and enforceability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, work independently and within a team
  • Experience with Large Financial Institutions (LFI) transformation initiatives preferred
