About the role

  • Own the end-to-end development, execution, and optimization of all email marketing campaigns, including promotional emails, nurture sequences, product updates, and triggered communications, primarily targeting medical and other specialty healthcare providers.
  • Manage and optimize our marketing automation platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) for segmentation, deployment, A/B testing, and performance tracking.
  • Develop and implement a rigorous testing roadmap (subject lines, copy, CTAs, layout, send times, etc.) to continuously improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribe rates.
  • Deeply understand our audience and leverage data to create highly targeted and personalized segments that deliver the most relevant content at the right time.
  • Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of all email campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive increased effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Content, and Data teams to ensure email programs align with business objectives, product launches, and content strategy.
  • Maintain a strong focus on email deliverability, list health, and ensuring all campaigns are compliant with relevant regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, marketing automation, and lifecycle marketing roles, preferably within a B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Deep expertise with a major Marketing Automation Platform (e.g., experience setting up complex workflows, scoring, and segmentation).
  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to inform strategic decisions, define success metrics, and execute continuous optimization through experimentation (A/B testing).
  • Demonstrated ability to tailor messaging for a specific professional audience (experience marketing to medical professionals or B2B healthcare is a strong plus).
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills, with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
