About the role

  • As an IT Supporter, you will be part of the central Digital Services and Solutions unit of the WBS GROUP.
  • Enable people to learn independently of location.
  • Support the planning, installation and maintenance of the training and administrative network at our locations in the Chemnitz region.
  • Provision of IT workstation equipment for employees and customers.
  • Regular optimization of installations (functional, technical and visual).
  • On-site service for network and server components.
  • Partnership-based collaboration with customers, trainers and colleagues.
  • Close cooperation on central IT projects.

Requirements

  • IT-minded career changers, trained IT specialists (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent qualifications.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and experience with MS Windows systems, as well as solid hardware and software knowledge.
  • Quick comprehension, a hands-on mentality, strong communication skills and fluent German (good English skills are an advantage).
  • Driving license and willingness to travel within the region (approx. 100 km) — a company car for professional and private use will be provided.
