Lead and manage a team of local managers to ensure alignment with state-level operational, clinical, and financial goals.
Assist local managers with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members to support regional growth and retention goals.
Own state performance of goals by tracking and reporting on operational performance within your market and translating high-level strategic objectives into actionable plans for local care teams.
Provide coaching and mentorship to local managers, fostering their professional development and ensuring a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
Oversee the day-to-day performance of care teams within your designated region, ensuring they meet the highest standards of patient access, care coordination, and quality.
Collaborate with national care support teams (Clinical, Quality, Analytics, etc.) to relay regional needs and challenges and implement new workflows and initiatives.
Support regional VP, Partnerships and Implementation teams to successfully launch new contracts in the state in conjunction with partner expectations and timelines.
Serve as a key point of contact for local providers and community-based organizations, helping to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships that support Waymark patients.
Requirements
7+ years of experience in healthcare or health services operations, with a focus on patient-facing care teams, outpatient services, and/or whole-person care focus.
3+ years of direct people management experience, including supervising managers or team leads.
Demonstrated ability to manage operational performance, gather and analyze data, and drive continuous improvement within a defined geographic area.
Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with budget oversight or financial management.
A track record of effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including providers and community partners.
Ability to travel frequently within the state to support local teams and engage with community stakeholders.
Must reside in Ohio, preferably Cleveland.
