Account Executive

• You'll prospect, qualify and close new opportunities with eCommerce businesses in North America
• Work with some of the most exciting growing consumer brands on the market
• Be an expert at sourcing your own leads that fit our ICP, alongside your dedicated BDR
• Conduct in-depth discoveries with prospects using Solution Sales & MEDDIC methodologies
• Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders across Wayflyer, working closely with our underwriting team, with a focus on speed and quality
• Act as a co-founder to our customers, ensuring negotiations are valuable for both parties
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets in a fast paced, high volume sales environment
• You'll be joining a high performing team, with top performers achieving 200-300% of their target!

Collections

• Manage delinquent accounts with sensitivity and professionalism, implementing revised payment structures and legal strategies when necessary.
• Lead calls with our customers, building relationships to ensure the best outcome for Wayflyer.
• Manage debt collection procedures for Wayflyer in Germany, including the examination of the validity of claims and the initiation and completion of the entire debt collection procedure (Inkassoverfahren)
• Prepare demand letters (reminders), monitor outstanding receivables, and clarify payment objections or obstacles with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Analyse financial & non-financial information to gain insights into the operations of leading eCommerce companies.
• Quantify and assess risks affecting the Wayflyer portfolio, ensuring informed decision-making.
• Monitor and evaluate customer performance within the portfolio.
• Collaborate with the analytics and operations teams to develop tools that enhance reporting quality and provide valuable insights.
• Collaborate closely with management to develop and implement new processes and refine existing products.
• Act as the key contact for external service providers, legal advisors, and relevant authorities regarding debt collection matters of our German business.

• Lead a team of 4+ Data Science and ML Engineers.
• Oversee the end-to-end ML lifecycle: from dataset annotation and model training to deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leads to define and execute a data science roadmap aligned with business growth and risk assessment.
• Implement best practices for reproducible data pipelines, automated testing, and documentation to ensure system reliability.
• Translate complex technical findings into actionable insights for VPs and C-suite executives.
• Ensure the team leverages AI and LLMs as accelerants to producing high quality outputs rather than as a crutch.
