Full-stack Engineer

• Own features end-to-end: shape solutions with product and design, build across the API and the UI, ship to production to create outcomes, not just deliver tickets
• Lean into your specialism - whether that's backend architecture, data modelling and performance, or frontend architecture, accessibility and user experience - and act as the go-to person for it on your team
• Design and develop backend services using Python and Django, including the data models and RESTful APIs that power our financial products
• Build high-quality, reusable frontend features using TypeScript and React
• Write clean, testable code with strong test coverage across the stack (pytest on the backend; Storybook/Chromatic, Playwright and Vitest on the frontend)
• Participate in code reviews on both sides of the stack in order to share knowledge and improve the quality of our solutions
• Monitor and maintain production systems, ensuring reliability, performance and security

Analyst

• Dig into the story behind the data - analyze the financial and non-financial performance of new and existing customers to understand what's really driving their business
• Learn to assess and quantify risk - get under the hood of eCommerce businesses and figure out how Wayflyer can fund their growth without taking on unnecessary exposure
• Get on the phone - join regular customer calls to understand their business models, funding needs, and where they're headed
• Work with management to build and test new processes and products, not just inherit them
• Support sales and operations by understanding how they win, and what they need to keep customer relationships healthy
• Get across our loan portfolio - understand how we manage it, what good looks like, and how we make the call to exit a risky relationship
• Connect dots across the business - this role touches a lot of teams, and we expect you to use that access
