About the role

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the Metering Operations department – overseeing the Energy Data Management, Switching Process Management and Installation Management teams.
  • Direct leadership of three team managers and overall responsibility for approximately 40 employees.
  • Responsibility for the operational implementation of metering point operations and for ensuring legally compliant processes.
  • Develop strategic objectives together with divisional management and translate them into practical, implementable concepts.
  • Actively drive the further development, standardization and digitalization of departmental processes.
  • Close collaboration with other department heads and cross-departmental involvement in central topics.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in a leadership role at middle-management level, ideally in the energy sector or in a similarly complex, regulated environment.
  • Solid understanding of processes and legal/regulatory requirements, ideally with prior experience in metering point operations or energy market processes.
  • Modern leadership approach: provide direction, create accountability, and lead respectfully and on equal terms.
  • Strategic vision, ability to shape change, and proven experience in digitizing processes.
  • Structured and solution-oriented working style, ability to set clear priorities and act proactively.
  • Willingness to be regularly present at the Ruderting (near Passau) location.
