About the role
- Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, supporting prioritization, decision preparation, and execution tracking.
- Translate leadership direction into actionable plans, timelines, and ownership across teams.
- Anticipate strategic risks, gaps, and dependencies before they escalate.
- Drive organizational alignment across the Executive Team and its functional leaders, including Product, Engineering, Operations, and Communications.
- Maintain executive-level execution visibility and accountability for CEO-led initiatives, ensuring consistent follow-through.
- Improve executive operating rhythms, decision frameworks, and cross-functional coordination mechanisms to support scale and reliability.
- Prepare agendas, materials, and briefings for meetings.
- Support execution of external partnerships with agencies, utilities, and technology partners.
- Ensure commitments and partnership deliverables translate into organizational outcomes.
- Draft follow-ups and track progress on strategic decisions.
- Coordinate execution of strategic and cross-functional projects under the CEO's scope, including fundraising campaigns and investor relations, organizational restructuring, and scaling initiatives.
- Serve as a connective layer between executive vision and cross-functional execution.
- Track milestones, surface risks, and ensure progress and blockers are visible without requiring direct CEO oversight.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the leadership team and key stakeholders.
- Support CEO in shaping organizational culture, values, and strategic direction.
- Act as a central hub for information moving into and out of the CEO's office.
- Draft internal updates, emails, summaries, and briefings to maintain organizational alignment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, program management, or leadership support roles.
- Demonstrated success coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Experience working closely with senior or executive leadership.
- Proven ability to operate calmly and effectively in time-sensitive or high-pressure environments.
- Deep commitment to accuracy, accountability, and public-safety outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in strategy, operations, program management, or leadership support.
