About the role

  • Provide support, review, and input of assigned academic and non-academic payroll data/deductions
  • Function as the primary source for payroll policies and procedures for specific departments and employees
  • Performs a wide variety of payroll processing activities to establish and maintain accurate employee/payroll records
  • Recording payroll deductions such as garnishments
  • Processing requests for On Demand payments
  • Reviewing worker taxation
  • Updating employee payroll records as needed
  • Supports customer inquiries via ticketing system
  • Assisting in processing biweekly and monthly payrolls
  • Collaborates with other departments on special projects, reports, or integrations

Requirements

  • A diploma, certification or degree is not required
  • No specific certification is required for this position
  • Payroll (3 Years)
  • College level courses in accounting and business (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in a university environment (Preferred - 1 Year)
  • Skills: Confidentiality, Customer Service, Detail-Oriented, Human Resource Software, Internal Controls, Oral Communications, Process Improvements, Service Oriented, Teamwork, Written Communication
