Provide support, review, and input of assigned academic and non-academic payroll data/deductions
Function as the primary source for payroll policies and procedures for specific departments and employees
Performs a wide variety of payroll processing activities to establish and maintain accurate employee/payroll records
Recording payroll deductions such as garnishments
Processing requests for On Demand payments
Reviewing worker taxation
Updating employee payroll records as needed
Supports customer inquiries via ticketing system
Assisting in processing biweekly and monthly payrolls
Collaborates with other departments on special projects, reports, or integrations
Requirements
A diploma, certification or degree is not required
No specific certification is required for this position
Payroll (3 Years)
College level courses in accounting and business (Preferred)
Previous experience in a university environment (Preferred - 1 Year)
