About the role

- Act as the "Central Source of Truth" for global partners, ensuring they have the assets, information, and inspiration needed to lean into our artists.
- Manage regional marketing budgets with precision, making high-impact investment decisions to fuel artist campaigns ex-home market.
- Oversee fan growth and community management strategy, collaborating with marketing leads to ensure digital and offline engagement resonates across different cultures.
- Coordinate operational project teams, working between local labels, third-party agencies, and international territories to keep every campaign on track.
- Run remote "lean-in" campaigns in markets with limited local resourcing, hiring experts and executing paid media strategies to build artist awareness.
- Facilitate on-ground artist opportunities, from international promo trips and live showcases to "Listen Up" events in major global hubs.
- Analyse artist social and first-party data through an export lens, surfacing trends and sound uses that can be leveraged for global momentum.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of manager experience in recorded music, music distribution, music management, or live entertainment, with a proven track record in marketing.
- Experience working within one or more key genres, including Hindi and Punjabi pop, Bollywood, Desi Hip-hop, Anglo pop/dance/R&B, Cantopop, K-pop, J-pop, Mandopop, or indie rock and folk.
- Strong regional artist perspective and deep experience within APAC’s music markets, combined with the commercial acumen to own performance and investment decisions.
- A strategic thinker and a "cultural chameleon" who understands how different cultures necessitate different ways of working to get the best outcome.
- A confident advocate for APAC and its artists, able to represent the region credibly in global forums and build trusted relationships with industry peers.
- Change-oriented, thriving in environments undergoing transformation while enjoying the challenge of building new frameworks, programmes, and ways of working.
- Fluent in English, and while not essential, you ideally speak other languages such as Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean.
- Passionate about international music and eager to learn what makes APAC artists successful across the world in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
