About the role

  • Provide strategic legal guidance on trademark selection, use, clearance, prosecution, and global portfolio management
  • Lead and manage global trademark and copyright disputes, oppositions, cancellations, and infringements
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on trademark and copyright litigation matters
  • Advise on a variety of international production and marketing related clearance issues
  • Manage IP Policy issues for EMEA region
  • Oversee relationship with relevant trade associations on IP Policy issues for EMEA region

Requirements

  • UK qualified Solicitor or Barrister with strong experience in the practice of IP law (trademark, brand protection, copyright and related matters)
  • Knowledge of IP policy issues facing media and entertainment industry
  • Extensive experience counseling clients at all levels, and proven ability to become a trusted advisor regarding IP issues
