About the role
- Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, meeting critical deadlines
- Support creative ideation and briefing process for marketing campaigns and content
- Work directly with our internal creative services team to drive the vision and ensure all marketing assets align with our brand and strategy
- Manage the trafficking and tracking process for all marketing assets to internal teams and external partners
- Set priorities and manage the scheduling and creation of on-air graphics, as well as writing copy for on-air reads and media buys
- Work cross-functionally with paid media team on kick-off briefings, asset delivery, and creative/tactic optimization
- Work in partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL) and US Soccer Federation (USSF) Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
- Hire, manage, and train semester interns
Requirements
- 2-3 years of marketing experience with a focus on strategy support and/or project management
- A strong work ethic, with a great attitude and the ability to be a self-starter
- Passion for sports with a strong understanding of the NHL and USSF
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive-level decision-makers.
- A keen eye for creative with the aptitude to convey actionable feedback
- Excellent project management skills (detail-oriented); ability to move multiple proactive initiatives forward and manage varying reactive deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data, research, and trends into actionable insights.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications or related field
- Ability to travel up to one week every other month
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Adobe Creative Suite a bonus
