About the role

  • Collaborating with the Game Director on the long-term vision and roadmap for the multiplayer game.
  • Align the game's goals with business objectives, player needs, and market trends by providing insights derived from data.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set strategic priorities, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, QA, marketing, and community management.
  • Manage and direct product managers, research associates, and analysts ensuring team growth and efficiency.
  • Establish an environment of product management craft excellence.
  • Work closely with live-ops and analytics teams to optimize in-game events, updates, and monetization strategies.
  • Ensure high-quality releases through constant iteration, player feedback, and data-driven insights.
  • Develop monetization strategies that are player-friendly and drive sustainable revenue.
  • Partner with marketing and user acquisition teams to drive player growth, retention, and engagement.
  • Maintain a player focused approach to monetization.
  • Stay up-to-date on multiplayer gaming trends, player preferences, and competitors’ products.
  • Organize, manage, and execute player feedback sessions to produce actionable insights.
  • Understand the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Provide regular updates on key metrics, feature performance, and future plans.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Director, Product Management , Head of Product, Principal Product Manager, Insights Director or similar role in the gaming industry, preferably with multiplayer or live-service games.
  • 10+ years in product management or a related role within the gaming industry, with hands-on experience in game design and development preferred
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and align diverse teams.
  • Experience in game monetization, particularly live service models.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain alignment across departments.
  • Passion for video games and a solid understanding of current multiplayer gaming trends.
