About the role
- Ensure the safety of all guests, team members, and property
- Monitor and patrol casino/hotel areas during assigned shifts
- Respond to security incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
- Prepare detailed and timely incident and investigation reports
- Assist with the secure transfer of money and gaming chips
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and NRGC regulations
- Control access to restricted areas and the video lottery facility
- Provide assistance and information to guests and employees as needed
- Stand post for extended periods as required
- Maintain consistent radio communication and respond promptly to back-up calls
- Attend required training sessions and department meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to remain composed under stress and handle conflict professionally
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military (preferred)
- Prior work in a casino or resort environment (preferred)
