About the role
- Supports the overall leadership and daily operations of the Security Department
- Responsible for supervising Security team members
- Ensures a safe and secure environment for guests and team members
- Protects company assets
- Oversees daily security operations to ensure safety, security, and compliance
- Supervises, assigns, and directs Security Officers based on operational needs
- Monitors team performance, coaching, and addressing performance concerns
- Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating security programs
- Leads and supports investigations, ensuring proper documentation
- Conducts routine patrols to identify and mitigate potential risks
- Maintains security systems, including key control and access procedures
- Prepares detailed incident, investigation, and activity reports
- Assists with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions
- Collaborates with leadership on strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
Requirements
- Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of casino security experience required
- At least three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems
- Previous casino or resort experience preferred
