About the role

  • Support the Project Manager or Interior Designer in the delivery of innovative design projects
  • Assist in multiple aspects of the architecture and interior design process, including but not limited to design and documentation across all project phases, preparation of materials and presentations, and support during construction administration activities
  • Actively support compliance with Studio BIM/CAD project standards and procedures
  • Assist in the drafting of space planning concepts and creation of program documents
  • Collaborate with team to suggest finishes, fixtures, and furniture for projects
  • Communicate with industry partners and Ware Malcomb employees
  • Actively support compliance with file and information storage

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in Interior Architecture & Design
  • Bachelor's degree or technical degree/certificate in an accredited Interior Design, Architecture, or Interior Architecture related program
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create components of presentation packages
  • Understanding what information will need to be presented to a client with the guidance of your supervisor
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Ability to work with your team members to solve problems involving multiple options
  • Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles
  • Understanding and application of design principles, theories, color and materials
