About the role
- Advise and support managers and employees on personnel-related and employment law questions
- Draft, review and amend employment contracts, addenda and other employment law documents
- Prepare payroll and coordinate with the external payroll service provider
- Coordinate applicant management including conducting interviews
- Support individual personnel measures (e.g., warnings, terminations, transfers)
- Support the implementation of HR projects
- Identify optimization potential in existing HR processes and contribute to implementing improvements
Requirements
- Commercial vocational training (e.g., office clerk, HR clerk, tax clerk) or a comparable qualification with additional certification, e.g., payroll accountant
- More than three years of professional experience in HR/personnel administration
- Good knowledge of employment law and, if applicable, experience with collective bargaining agreements (GuA NRW)
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and a strong affinity for working with our HR software (Sage HR Suite / ATOSS time tracking system)
- Proven ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, creativity and a high sense of responsibility for one’s own area of work
- Team-oriented with a willingness to develop professionally
