About the role
- Own how Walrus is explained
- Translate complex, technical ideas into clear, concrete language
- Produce, own, and continuously improve core materials (website, product pages, technical posts, sales materials, announcements)
- Own events end-to-end (concept, content, execution)
- Handle PR, including identifying and reaching relevant journalists and analysts
- Use LinkedIn and other social channels to reach customers and partners directly
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in product marketing, ideally in a technical or complex domain
- Experience in early-stage or high-growth environments
- Excellent writing, with examples of external-facing work
- Experience owning core surfaces like website, product messaging, and written content
- Independent operation in fast-moving environments
- End-to-end ownership, from narrative through content to distribution
- Uses metrics (engagement, conversion) to evaluate and improve work
- Nice to have: Experience running campaigns or generating inbound interest or with marketing automation tools or in fintech, payments, or security
- Experience working with analysts or press
