About the role

  • Define End-to-End Strategy: Own the long-term product vision and multi-year roadmap for complex, cross-functional initiatives from inception through to global rollout.
  • Drive Strategic Execution: Lead high-stakes, end-to-end projects—such as high-frequency service models or fulfillment optimizations—that require deep integration across engineering, operations, and marketing.
  • Optimize the Ecosystem: Identify and resolve systemic friction points in the eCommerce funnel, including search, discovery, checkout, and post-purchase experiences.
  • Data-Driven Innovation: Champion a culture of rigorous experimentation (A/B testing, hypothesis-driven pilots) to validate new business models and maximize ROI.
  • Mentorship & Best Practices: Act as a "force multiplier" by mentoring other PMs and establishing best-in-class product management frameworks across the organization.

Requirements

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 9 years’ experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 11 years’ experience in product management or related area.
  • Extensive Experience: Typically 7–10+ years in product management with a proven track record of shipping complex, large-scale eCommerce or digital retail solutions.
  • Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in analyzing market trends and customer behavior metrics (AOV, Conversion, CLV) to inform high-leverage product bets.
  • Mastery of Influence: Exceptional ability to lead without formal authority, navigating diverse teams and bridging the gap between technical requirements and business goals.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) to effectively collaborate with engineering leads.
  • Customer Obsession: Deep empathy for the end-user, with a focus on creating seamless, intuitive digital experiences that solve real customer problems.
  • Resilience in Ambiguity: Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple high-priority workstreams and adapting to shifting market dynamics.
Benefits
  • Health benefits include medical, vision and dental coverage.
  • Financial benefits include 401(k), stock purchase and company-paid life insurance.
  • Paid time off benefits include PTO (including sick leave), parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting.
  • Other benefits include short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and more.
  • Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.
