About the role
- The Principal, Technical Program Manager leads complex, large-scale programs by defining goals, managing cross-functional dependencies, and driving end-to-end technology solutions.
- This role requires expertise in program planning, technical design, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery across multiple teams.
- The position involves translating product requirements into scalable system architectures, overseeing program execution, and fostering continuous improvement.
- Expect to lead and manage complex, large-scale technical programs with multiple interdependent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivery timelines.
- Define program scopes, stage gates, critical paths, and key deliverables while securing commitments from cross-functional teams.
- Communicate program status, risks, and impacts effectively to stakeholders, fostering alignment and informed decision-making.
- Mentor team members on best practices in program management, technical design.
Requirements
- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
- Option 2: 8 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
- Extensive experience in program and project management, including risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong technical expertise in systems architecture, cloud infrastructure, and software/hardware lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to translate product requirements into scalable technical designs and ensure operational excellence through monitoring and incident management.
- Skilled in Agile methodologies, program planning tools, and frameworks to drive delivery of large-scale technology programs.
- Exceptional communication skills to align stakeholders and provide clear, data-driven progress updates.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams and implementing process improvements for enhanced efficiency and quality outcomes.
