About the role
- Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (eg customers, suppliers, associates)
- Implement the business plan for area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (eg production, quality, safety)
- Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and/or analyzing business reports
- Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on Logistics and company policies, monitoring compliance, distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation
- Identify associate/customer/supplier concerns and determine corrective action
- Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, monitoring performance, providing feedback, coaching, teaching, hiring, promotion, evaluation
- Manage the execution of QA guidelines, procedures and programs to increase building efficiency and maintain inventory integrity (eg slot profiling, inventory adjustments, cycle inventory tests, managing outside storage, damages, strays)
- Manage systems hardware and software maintenance and installation; oversee installation and repairs, track inventory and order system components
- Manage troubleshooting of systems applications; work on systems problem resolution with ISD and vendors and support development of systems applications

Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year supervisory experience OR Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Logistics or related field OR 2 years Walmart logistics experience OR 2 years supervisory experience
- Preferred: Inventory Management, Microsoft Office, Walmart Logistics Systems
