About the role
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing of the backend in a client-server architecture (including API, business logic, and data handling)
- Perform quality control throughout the development cycle, including testing new features, supporting regression test coverage, and providing comprehensive test reports
- Manage the entire defect cycle, including identification, detailed verification, reporting, and root cause analysis using all available resources (logs, monitoring)
- Participate in requirements analysis (Grooming), test effort estimation, analysis of potential risks, and making suggestions for improving product quality
- Maintain, create, and update test documentation (test cases, checklists) and regression sets
- Work actively in a cross-functional Scrum team; participate in improving QA processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing
- Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools
- Experience working with SQL
- Knowledge of QA Theory and Practice (Experience creating high-quality test documentation (test cases, checklists) and defect reports)
- Analytical Skills (Analysis and validation of requirements, including deep business logic immersion and problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills)
- Strong understanding of client-server architecture
- Good exploratory skills and understanding of which type of testing should be applied to a specific feature.
- Spoken English at B1–B2+ level
