About the role
- Manage and perform highly skilled technical operations within a critical facility data center.
- Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS), utility plants, air-conditioning systems, and all supporting infrastructure.
- Perform inspections and testing of refrigeration systems, safety devices, and controls to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Manage third-party vendor teams, including electrical and mechanical service providers.
- Troubleshoot and take corrective action for major malfunctions or breakdowns involving HVAC, refrigeration, pumps, coils, fans, and related systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of extensive experience in one or more of medium electrical voltage distribution and controls, mechanical systems, Building Management and automation controls.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area or 3 years’ experience in technology infrastructure engineering.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to supervise work on utility plant mechanical and electrical systems and components.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
