About the role
- Act as interface between car builders (Alstom, Bombardier, Siemens, CAF, …) and Wabtec project management teams worldwide
- Ensure Wabtec equipment delivered for trains in Egypt (doors, HVAC, ...) meets clients’ expectations
- Solve problems locally on the field and raise quality issues to project management teams
- Serve as Field Service Representative at Metro Cairo depot providing technical support to customer at depot
- Manage customer relationships at depot and coordinate with Wabtec manufacturing sites for failure analysis, repair, replacement, and logistics for defective parts
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, quality, field service, warranty or similar
- Experience in rail industry will be appreciated
- Understanding of quality systems & product quality warranty processes
- English fluent
