About the role
- Administer and maintain the Salsify platform, including data models, property configurations, and digital asset management.
- Serve as the platform expert and liaison for all things Salsify—ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and accuracy.
- Configure and manage product taxonomies, families, and templates to streamline product setup and updates.
- Audit and cleanse product data on a recurring basis to ensure compliance with brand, retailer, and regulatory standards.
- Manage and optimize content syndication to multiple retail and DTC channels (Amazon, Walmart, Target, Shopify, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and resolve syndication and feed errors, collaborating with platform support and internal teams as needed.
- Maintain and improve syndication readiness scores and channel health metrics.
- Troubleshoot data flow and mapping issues between Salsify and upstream/downstream systems such as Arena, SAP, Shopify, etc.
- Partner with product, sales and marketing teams to understand evolving data and content needs.
- Support digital merchandising initiatives by ensuring accurate and rich content across all endpoints.
- Develop and continuously improve internal workflows for content creation, approval, and syndication.
- Document data standards, naming conventions, and platform best practices.
- Provide onboarding and ongoing training to internal teams on how to use or request changes via Salsify.
- Monitor data completeness, data quality, and performance across channels.
- Build dashboards and reports to track the status of product content syndication and identify improvement areas.
- Recommend and implement new Salsify features and automations to increase efficiency.
Requirements
- 2–4 years experience in product content management, eCommerce operations, or PIM systems (preferably Salsify).
- Strong understanding of product data structures, content hierarchies, and digital shelf requirements.
- Experience managing large datasets with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with retailer-specific content standards (e.g., Amazon A+ content, Walmart listings, etc.).
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with data import/export processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and timelines independently.
