About the role

  • Manage day‑to‑day activities of the ICT engineering team including incident / request management, annual leave, on call rota and performance reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for ICT processes and technologies.
  • Escalate any issues within the engineering team to the Head of Client Delivery in a timely manner.
  • Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure, business / mission critical applications and services in line with the ITIL service catalogue.
  • Implement and monitor security best practices across all ICT systems.
  • Create and maintain documentation as ICT relates to system configuration, mapping and processes.
  • Infrastructure life cycle management and capacity planning.
  • Liaise with third party suppliers to ensure resolution to agreed SLA's and standards.
  • Following a period of training and assessment, form part of the 24x7 duty rota (1 in every 4/5 weeks).
  • Work within the framework and guidelines of ITIL processes and policies, ensuring alignment to best practice.
  • Carry out any other ancillary tasks, deemed within your capability, as specified by the Line Manager to support service requirements and the wider NS function.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in ICT infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience of working within a service level driven environment.
  • Security Cleared – SC Clearance, NPPV3 Level.
  • Full UK Driving License.
