About the role

  • Leads and coordinates financial processes, providing direction, oversight, and review of financial transactions
  • Performs professional accounting work, including the preparation of financial statements
  • Analyzes and recommends solutions on complex accounting issues
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual comprehensive financial reporting packages
  • Interacts with Sr. Management on financial matters
  • Ensures financial reporting is in accordance with professional standards
  • Evaluates accounting processes and identifies solutions to ensure compliance
  • Provides technical guidance and training opportunities to junior staff
  • Develops financial reports and metrics to present to management

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, or Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Six years of accounting-related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in spreadsheet applications and accounting systems
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work under strict deadlines
  • Strong business aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of financial and operational planning processes and best practices
  • Clean credit history as reported by credit report
