About the role
- Own the full sales cycle from qualified opportunity through close
- Focus primarily on private sector segment (manufacturing, industrial, energy companies)
- Individual quota: 4-5 new customers annually ($400K-$500K new ARR)
- Demonstrate a hunter mentality—actively source, pursue, and win new accounts
- Leverage advanced negotiation tactics to overcome objections and secure commitments
- Collaborate with CEO/Director on strategic accounts
- Provide competitive intelligence and market insights
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with proven track record in government/utility segment OR construction tech to owner
- Consistent quota attainment in previous roles
- Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Consultative selling approach (not transactional)
- Comfortable in player-coach role (individual contributor + mentoring)
- Self-starter who can thrive in small, fast-growing company environment
- Highly Preferred: Construction, engineering, or AEC industry experience
- Background with project management or portfolio management software
- Familiarity with public sector procurement processes is a plus
- Experience with industrial/manufacturing verticals (steel, automotive, chemical, energy, etc.)
