About the role
- Own the full recruiting lifecycle for commercial and enterprise sales roles from kick-off through offer acceptance, ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience at every stage
- Partner closely with Sales Directors, VP of Sales, Partnerships, and People leadership to deeply understand hiring needs, role requirements, and team dynamics
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified commercial talent through proactive sourcing, industry networking, referrals, and targeted outreach
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies tailored to the energy industry, with a particular emphasis on attracting candidates with DER, demand response, and clean energy backgrounds
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the competitive commercial talent market, advising hiring managers on compensation benchmarks, candidate availability, and hiring timelines
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruiting activity in our ATS, and provide regular pipeline reporting to stakeholders
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives that position Voltus as the destination for top commercial talent in the energy transition
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a meaningful focus on GTM hiring
- Experience recruiting within the energy industry is strongly preferred; background in distributed energy resources (DERs), demand response, or clean energy technology is a significant plus
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior sales leaders and hiring managers, acting as a true strategic partner
- Excellent sourcing skills with a track record of building pipelines for hard-to-fill, niche commercial roles
- Strong communication skills. You write clearly, engage candidates authentically, and can represent the Voltus mission with conviction
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple concurrent searches in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Experience with Lever or a comparable ATS
