Platform Engineer

• Lead a platform engineering team through technical direction, design reviews, code reviews, and day-to-day delivery
• Set technical direction and design and build owned platform layers as product requirements evolve
• Represent platform engineering in roadmap planning and translate product requirements into scoped, sequenced technical work
• Communicate trade-offs and keep delivery on track
• Work with bring-up teams to identify operational pain points and turn them into scalable platform features
• Collaborate with security engineering to integrate security guidance and remediate findings
• Coordinate with platform engineering leads on shared architecture, joint initiatives, and cross-team and cross-timezone delivery

Analyst

• Own the IT support queue as first line: triage requests, resolve issues, and escalate appropriately
• Handle account access, software installs, licensing, hardware faults, and connectivity issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile
• Support meeting room and AV equipment and video conferencing
• Execute joiner, mover, and leaver processes end-to-end
• Create accounts, assign groups and licenses, ship devices, and remove access on exit
• Prepare devices for new starters and run IT induction sessions
• Confirm offboarding completion, device return, and access revocation
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and manage hardware lifecycle
• Monitor device enrollment, patching, and compliance in JumpCloud
• Administer JumpCloud, Microsoft 365, Slack, and Atlassian

IT Analyst

• Own the electrical reference designs used across all Volta projects
• Govern application of standard designs on each project and manage deviations with discipline
• Assure project electrical design from utility intake and MV distribution through to the rack
• Review consultant and contractor electrical deliverables against fleet standards
• Support power architecture decisions for high-density NVIDIA Vera deployments
• Work with procurement on specifications for long-lead electrical equipment
• Feed commissioning and operational lessons back into the reference designs
• Coach project design leads on electrical standards and practice

Global Electrical Design Manager

General

• Coordinate day-to-day delivery activities across design, procurement, execution, safety, quality and controls workstreams
• Track progress against the project plan and flag emerging risks or delays early
• Run regular cross-discipline coordination meetings and follow up on actions
• Support the Project Delivery Manager with day-to-day decision-making and problem-solving
• Maintain clear, up-to-date project documentation and status reporting
• Help resolve interface issues between disciplines before they affect schedule or cost
• Support readiness planning ahead of key milestones and stage gates
• Assist with onboarding new team members and contractors into project processes
• Escalate significant issues to the Project Delivery Manager with clear context and options

End-to-End Delivery Lead

• Own Volta's contracting strategy across general contractor, package and vendor agreements
• Set standard contract forms, flow-downs and commercial terms across the fleet
• Lead major negotiations alongside procurement and project leadership
• Provide functional leadership to the contracts leads embedded in each project team
• Build claims avoidance practice and manage disputes when they arise
• Run commercial governance, delegations and approvals across projects
• Keep contracting standards compliant across multiple jurisdictions
• Train and develop commercial capability across the delivery organisation

Contracts Manager – Central Function

Operations

• Stand up Service Operations from its current state: define the structure, hire the service desk and support teams, and get them operating to standard before the first major deployment goes live.
• Select and implement the ITSM platform and the surrounding tooling, and own the ticket taxonomy, routing, and knowledge base that make it usable.
• Establish 24/7 coverage against our response commitments, including follow-the-sun or partner-supported models where that is the right answer.
• Own the service management system end to end: incident, major incident, problem, change, service level, configuration, knowledge, and continual improvement.
• Own major incident command: the framework, the roster, the escalation paths, and customer communications during an incident. Chair major incidents yourself when the situation calls for it.
• Own problem management with real teeth, so that recurring incidents get root-caused and closed rather than repeatedly restored.
• Use ISO 20000 and ITIL as guidance rather than certification targets. We want the discipline, not the paperwork.
• Own service level management: performance against contractual SLAs, the reporting our customers see, and the accuracy of what we tell them.
• Build the OLA framework with the engineering functions and the underpinning contracts with OEM and service partners, so that the commitments we make externally are backed internally.
• Own the service review cadence with customers, including the difficult reviews after a bad month.
• Own how customers experience Volta operationally: responsiveness, communication quality, and whether interacting with us reduces or adds to their workload.
• Establish experience measurement alongside the SLA metrics, and act on what it tells you. A green dashboard and an unhappy customer is a failure.
• Partner with the Technical Account Managers on account-level operational relationships and with the TPM organization on deployment and transition activity.
• Build working relationships with the platform, network, infrastructure, and project engineering leaders strong enough that process holds under pressure without escalation.
• Own the operational seam where a deployment hands over into steady state service, alongside the project delivery function.
• Work with security engineering on the operational controls and evidence that our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 obligations depend on.
• Be the accountable operational counterpart our customers can call, and be credible in that role at senior level.
