About the role

  • A Core Network Assurance Engineer monitors network elements within teams’ scope and maintains strong knowledge of Vodafone services.
  • His/her role is to detect, escalate, and manage incidents, changes, or problems that may affect service availability and quality, ensuring quick and professional resolution.
  • He/She acts as a single point of contact for internal technical teams, regional NOCs, and domestic or international operators.
  • Following the regionalization of monitoring and first-level fault management, he/she supports increased operational demands with the main goal of maintaining network performance, availability, and service quality.
  • This role requires working effectively in a high-pressure environment, ensuring service assurance and operational excellence.
  • Additionally, the team is responsible for the technical resolution or delegation of customer complaint tickets related to Core and Roaming services.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of experience in telecommunications or Computer Systems (desired)
  • Good knowledge of converged Networks architecture
  • Strong customer orientation attitude
  • Take initiatives, be alerted, have a sense of urgency
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled at working with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve business goal to deliver results/change
  • First degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Physics or Computer Science.
  • Very good knowledge of English language oral and written.
