About the role

  • Develop and own a structured plan aligned to the SME “Protect & Nurture” strategy for Vodafone Ireland.
  • Build and execute a tailored contact strategy to systematically reach all assigned accounts.
  • Understand and document customer requirements to support proposals and contractual processes.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Sales to identify opportunities ensuring revenue targets are met.
  • Maintain a high-quality pipeline of at least four times the annual sales target.
  • Support marketing activities, campaigns and events to drive demand.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand client environments, goals, and challenges.
  • Explain how Vodafone's solutions address customer requirements in a consultative manner.
  • Work with internal teams to respond to tenders, coordinate estimates, manage procurement engagement, and shape bid responses.
  • Provide accurate pricing quotations, support negotiation discussions, and complete contract processes.
  • Report pipeline and performance updates to the Inside Sales Manager.
  • Engage in marketing‑led initiatives that focus on specific business growth themes.

Requirements

  • Experienced with at least 2+ years in a similar sales or customer‑facing role.
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship‑building capability.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment with strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Possesses a consultative approach to managing diverse and complex customer needs.
  • Highly motivated with a positive, solutions‑oriented mindset and the drive to exceed performance expectations.
  • Skilled in time management, commercial awareness, and understanding sales dynamics.
  • Confident presenting to a wide variety of stakeholders including senior leadership.
  • Proven experience working towards and achieving regular sales targets.
  • Adaptable, flexible and resilient when working under pressure.
