About the role

  • Deliver advanced troubleshooting for security incidents, ensuring timely closure within defined SLAs.
  • Perform configuration, upgrades, and maintenance of Fortigate firewalls, FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer platforms.
  • Plan, prepare, and implement customer and internal changes following ITIL processes.
  • Manage vendor escalations, including ticket creation, RMA handling, and hardware replacement coordination.
  • Provide coaching and knowledge-sharing across the support team through documentation and peer learning.
  • Approve change requests in alignment with organisational practices and governance.
  • Continuously enhance technical capability, including upskilling on new security technologies and earning relevant certifications.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience with Fortigate (preferably 3700D), FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
  • Understanding of SD-WAN technologies, SASE, Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX), IPS/IDS and application control.
  • Experience with web security technologies such as Secure Web Gateway, PKI infrastructure, Cloud Firewall and multi-factor authentication tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience handling complex changes.
  • Excellent communication, customer-handling and collaboration skills.
  • Exposure to Checkpoint, Juniper or other firewall technologies (desired).
  • Educational qualification: Engineering Graduate/Diploma with certifications such as FCNSA, FCNSP, NSE 1–3, NSE 6, NSE 7.
