About the role

  • As a Specialist Operations Run – Billing & AR (m/f/d), you independently and responsibly handle complex incidents within SLAs.
  • You independently track Service Level Agreements and service KPIs for the services you are responsible for, monitor compliance, and proactively respond to potential breaches of target values and quality degradations, involving the necessary 2nd‑level teams and business units.
  • You are responsible for independently identifying, coordinating, and implementing proactive optimization measures together with engineering teams to prevent incidents that could negatively impact customers.
  • You support and assist with rollouts of new systems, services, and software.
  • You support the implementation of lifecycle projects for the applications for which you are responsible.
  • You independently create technical instructions for 1st level support.

Requirements

  • A technical vocational qualification with 5 years of professional experience, or a completed technical degree with at least 3 years of professional experience in operating complex IT system landscapes.
  • Strong customer orientation and analytical thinking skills.
  • Extensive process and IT know‑how in telecommunications.
  • Very good analytical, conceptual and organizational skills.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux, Unix and databases.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, OCI, etc.) is desirable.
  • Very good English language skills, written and spoken (C1 according to the CEFR); German language skills are desirable.
  • Experience in intercultural communication and collaboration.
