About the role

  • As Manager, Business Controlling (m/f/d) you are end-to-end responsible for controlling the sales channels in Vodafone's business customers (B2B) segment.
  • You provide transparency for our management and the sales channels to achieve financial targets, and you optimize revenue and margin growth together with the budget owners.
  • As an experienced business partner you are the point of contact for the sales channels as well as for various finance areas such as Accounting and Business Intelligence.
  • You support month-end closing, planning and forecasting of revenues, direct costs and customer/subscriber numbers through targeted analyses and valuable insights from your coordination with the sales channels.
  • You create transparency for our management by preparing meaningful presentations and well-founded analyses.
  • You are continuously looking for process improvements and digitization and support the strategic further development of our controlling processes.
  • You are responsible for deputizing for the group manager.

Requirements

  • A degree in economics or business administration (Master's degree or Diplom) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience (at least 5–7 years) in controlling or FP&A, ideally in the telecommunications industry.
  • Excellent conceptual skills, analytical and strategic thinking.
  • Strong communication skills, excellent ability to present complex topics and very good stakeholder management skills.
  • High degree of independent working, self-motivation and sense of ownership.
  • Ability to work independently, team player and quality-conscious.
  • Cross-functional, business-oriented thinking.
  • Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and databases.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
