About the role
- As Manager, Business Controlling (m/f/d) you are end-to-end responsible for controlling the sales channels in Vodafone's business customers (B2B) segment.
- You provide transparency for our management and the sales channels to achieve financial targets, and you optimize revenue and margin growth together with the budget owners.
- As an experienced business partner you are the point of contact for the sales channels as well as for various finance areas such as Accounting and Business Intelligence.
- You support month-end closing, planning and forecasting of revenues, direct costs and customer/subscriber numbers through targeted analyses and valuable insights from your coordination with the sales channels.
- You create transparency for our management by preparing meaningful presentations and well-founded analyses.
- You are continuously looking for process improvements and digitization and support the strategic further development of our controlling processes.
- You are responsible for deputizing for the group manager.
Requirements
- A degree in economics or business administration (Master's degree or Diplom) or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional experience (at least 5–7 years) in controlling or FP&A, ideally in the telecommunications industry.
- Excellent conceptual skills, analytical and strategic thinking.
- Strong communication skills, excellent ability to present complex topics and very good stakeholder management skills.
- High degree of independent working, self-motivation and sense of ownership.
- Ability to work independently, team player and quality-conscious.
- Cross-functional, business-oriented thinking.
- Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and databases.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
