About the role

  • You design, execute and are responsible for the entire lifecycle of regular and ad-hoc analyses of sales performance as decision support up to the executive level.
  • You train and mentor colleagues from the analytics and data modelling environment and provide technical leadership.
  • You design, build and further develop tools to analyze customer-specific information — in close coordination with the respective business units, stakeholder management, and within PPM project governance with the areas required for implementation (e.g., Business Intelligence, IT, TO/TO etc.).
  • You generate insights to optimize the efficiency of sales performance management.
  • You identify relevant topic areas (e.g., opportunities and risks), derive required actions and develop well-founded recommendations.

Requirements

  • University degree with a mathematical and/or statistical focus, or a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or business informatics with a strong emphasis on data modelling.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience — ideally in the telecommunications sector — in areas such as Big Data, performance management and/or controlling, planning and/or reporting/analysis.
  • Several years of professional experience in data analytics.
  • Very good knowledge of statistical programming and development environments such as R, SAS, Python or comparable languages.
  • Expert knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Teradata (SQL), as well as advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Very high resilience and flexibility.
  • Entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset.
  • Precise and effective communication at all levels.
  • Strong judgment.
Benefits
  • Flexibility: Hybrid working allows you to work from the office or up to 3 days per week from home.
  • Additionally, you can work up to 20 days per year from EU countries and an increasing number of non-EU countries.

  • Professional development: You choose which of our learning and training programs support your individual development.
  • Work-life balance: From childcare, health & mindfulness programs to gym membership — you can flexibly shape your work and private life.
