About the role

  • As Customer Program Manager Public & Health (m/f/d) you are responsible for evaluating and planning innovative solutions in unfamiliar project scenarios with partially unpredictable conflicts of interest, and for analyzing strategic options and initiatives to present possible courses of action along with their opportunities and risks.
  • You manage programs with high technical and organizational complexity while always keeping the overarching objective in focus.
  • You ensure active change and quality management in projects with significant financial and strategic impact through contractual anchoring and transparent budget planning including a monthly forecast.
  • You create transparency, resolve strong conflicts of interest at senior management level, and actively manage differing expectations through appropriate communication (project marketing).
  • You are responsible for ensuring cost-optimized project execution (Capex/Opex/Direct Costs) by avoiding Time & Material contracts and maintaining transparent budget planning including a monthly forecast.
  • You support the requirements of customers and points of contact and advocate for the interests of the organization.
  • You are responsible for analyzing and developing strategic options and initiatives and for presenting potential courses of action and their opportunities and risks (SWOT) in the event of implementation.
  • You ensure transparent budget planning including a monthly forecast and identify variances and countermeasures.
  • You are responsible for the technical / lateral leadership of project teams.
  • You are responsible for communication with the customer, the project team, management, and up to the Managing Director level.

Requirements

  • University of Applied Sciences or university degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Several years of experience in program management and leading complex large-scale projects.
  • Very strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership.
  • Assertiveness and exceptional negotiation skills in highly heterogeneous teams, taking cultural backgrounds into account.
  • Demonstrated project management skills (PMI certification).
  • Business-fluent German and English (CEFR C1).
