About the role
- Engage with Commercial, Product Management, and Technology teams to shape product backlogs and requirements
- Translate functional and non-functional needs into end-to-end technical solutions, including cost estimation
- Own the high-level design and ensure alignment with product requirements
- Act as technical design authority across architecture, service models, security, privacy, and compliance
- Lead technical aspects of vendor management and product improvement
- Support product lifecycle management, including in-life operations and end-of-life transitions
- Provide strategic technology guidance and contribute to organisational improvement
- Deliver technical product collateral and guide solution consultants
- Review supplier documentation and support delivery alignment
- Assess requirements and contribute to RFx creation and evaluation
- Ensure timely and budget-conscious product delivery
- Identify innovation opportunities and enhance customer experience
- Document product and solution details
- Support connectivity strategy and refine service models
- Simplify complex problems for diverse audiences
Requirements
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication and presentation skills
- Expertise in Fortinet SDWAN, SDLAN, SASE, and traditional routing
- Experience working with internal stakeholders, external partners, and geographically dispersed teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within strict timelines
- Skilled in handling complex solutions and product lifecycle activities
- Higher education in networking, computer science, or related field
- Knowledge of Mobile and Fixed Networks
- Experience with Agile frameworks
- Proven leadership in telecoms solution design for multinational operators
- Familiarity with cloud-native concepts (AWS, GCP, containers/K8S)
- Understanding of software development, DevOps, API methodology, and gateways
- Exposure to next-gen orchestration and assurance solutions
