About the role
- Operate and monitor data centre activities on a 24/7 shift basis, ensuring smooth execution of Data Warehouse and Billing cycles.
- Maintain quality standards for all processes and trigger improvements where necessary.
- Report data centre performance and activities as Level 1 support.
- Handle service quality escalations and coordinate with Level 2 support teams.
- Ensure the knowledge base is updated and cascade information to team members.
- Develop lessons learned and contribute to service delivery enhancements.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer or Communication Engineering or Computer Science is a plus (not mandatory).
- 1–3 years of IT experience, preferably in technical support.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Intermediate knowledge of operating systems (Linux and Windows).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with Microsoft, Unix/Linux systems.
- Shell scripting knowledge and ITIL certification are advantageous.
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools.
- Ability to identify patterns and correlations between system messages and customer data.
