About the role
- Contribute to all phases of the SAP development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Develop well-structured, efficient, and maintainable ABAP code, including object-oriented programming.
- Implement solutions for reports (ALV, classical, interactive), interfaces (ALE, IDOC, Proxy), conversions (BAPI, BDC), and enhancements (user exits, BADIs).
- Work on forms using Adobe and SmartForms.
- Optimise ABAP code for HANA compatibility and leverage advanced features such as CDS views, AMDP, IDA, and OData services.
- Collaborate on SAP UI5/FIORI development and integration projects.
- Support continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies and presenting recommendations for architectural review.
- Apply strong problem-solving and debugging techniques to resolve complex issues.
Requirements
- Proficient in SAP ABAP programming with expertise in object-oriented concepts.
- Hands-on experience in ABAP on HANA, including CDS, AMDP, and OData protocols.
- Familiarity with SAP UI5/FIORI and SAP Cloud/BTP is desirable.
- Exposure to SAP PI/CPI, API Management, and automation development projects is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience across SAP modules such as FICO, SCM, and HR.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to innovative solutions.
